Current Mediation Legislation

10 September 2025

Mediation legislation is subject to change with annually updated tariffs and occasional legal regulations. In this article, we summarize the current key developments.

2026 Mediation Minimum Fee Tariff

The 2026 tariff was published in the Official Gazette dated December 26, 2025. The new tariff includes updates to fee brackets compared to the previous year. The Denklem app automatically uses this tariff.

Mandatory Mediation

Mediation continues to be a prerequisite for filing a lawsuit in employment law disputes. Parties cannot file a lawsuit without completing the mediation process. This increases the importance of accurate calculation.

Attorney Fee Calculation

With court decisions and new regulations, the attorney fee calculation method in mediation is also on the agenda. This calculation feature will also be included in the upcoming version of Denklem.

Tariff Brackets

Mediation fees are calculated on a graduated bracket basis based on the dispute amount:

  • First bracket: 6%
  • Second bracket: 5%
  • Third bracket: 4%
  • Fourth bracket: 3%

The minimum fee is updated annually and serves as the basis for calculations.
